After a long day on the water, we decided to head in. The Fog was coming fast and so did we. This is the time when you hope that everyone on the river (yes even the canoes) has lights on so that they can be seen. Usually not. So we have to keep a careful eye out for those idiots! Thought the colors in this shot were beautiful with the fog coming down the river.

Yes, we are rednecks (raised in the south kinda people) and are proud of our flag and our heritage, atleast while we still can. The orange flag at the top is supposed to be on all airboats. They don't last but maybe a month before we have to replace it. It is just one more cost that we airboaters spend to enjoy our "FREEDOM" of choice.

We met up with April, Glenn and Terry on our Sat ride back. They were gonna go Frog Giggin.
Neil and Nick were cleaning up a swimmin hole at Ricky's and Janice, Sarah and me decided to get in and help, there sure was alot of metel, glass and all kinds of stuff in the water there.
We hung out at Ricky's most of the day Saturday, due to the rain and lighting. It sure is nice to have somewhere to run to when it rains, and ya just don't want to leave the river.

Justa clean......................................

Pay just loves Diesel, so when Ben had him fetching, I decided to let payday follow, she did a great job swimming after him. Of course Ben was close by watching to make sure she made it back to the boat. We're trying to teach pay to sit on Diesel's head, he is such a gentle dog.
Ben and Diesel he looks like a big ole sheep dog, Oh I mean Diesel. hehe

Payday loves to ride on the airboat, she just holds her head in the wind, of course I do have a good hold on her.

Rode around the Aucilla and found where these springs were coming out of the rocks.
Sarah got not one but two new puppies for her birthday. These are the laziest dogs I've ever seen. There names are LuLu and Sissy (aka Fred).
And the Birthday girl down at goose.

Got a shot of this line of clouds that were going over on our way to goose, the colors were awe so beautiful.

As we were leaving out Sunday from the river, we came upon this piggies in front of Todd & Cheryls.
I was munching on some peanuts and decided to feed them. WRONG! They ended up rutting up Todd & Rickys corn field.
By the next weekend, I had heard thru the grapevine (Ben) that Todd and Ricky were furious with me for feeding them. But they forgave me, I told them I would'nt do it again and was willing to surrender my peanuts.

OOP'S unfortunetly this will happen in an airboat. At least no one was hurt.
We spent most of Sunday trying to help get the boat closer to the bank, then lifting to put it on blocks, so that it could be bailed out. Finally they were able to tow it back to the head.
We've had this sort of practice before, but it was in the middle of the nite. Much better during the day, so that you can see the critters around ya.
