This was a beautiful sink that we parked on the side of the road and walked into. I was actually on the back side looking into this sink, to my back was another sink with a small ledge in between the two, to stand on.. The sand that has washed in was like being at the beach.
This was the ledge that you could walk between the two sinks. Dale is ahead of me and on the beach sand is Joe and Sarah.
You can see where the sand has washed in, I loved the curved palm tree.
This was the sink behind the big sink. The big sink as Duck says is called Dead Mans Sink. Years ago there were some people killed and their vehicle was ran off into the big sink. It is ashame that such a beautiful place is only remembered for such a horrible crime!

OMG, this place is GORGEOUS!!! Can we go back? It looks just like the beach! I'd love to hang out there some this summer!!
ReplyDeleteYes, cause my camera was on the wrong setting and alot of the pics I took blurrrd, its down near goose pasture and there are several sinks that you can walk right into. It was awesome!
